Each movement of Brian Howard's Voyages for solo saxophone will be performed by eight saxophonists in succession. Nathan Henshaw, James Nightingale, Andrew Smith, Michael Duke, Nicholas Russoniello, Martin Kay and Christina Leonard are seven of Australia's leading saxophonists. They will be joined by the esteemed French saxophonist, researcher and pedagogue, Claude Delangle (to whom Brian Howard has dedicated his Voyages), in this world premiere performance at the World Saxophone Congress in St Andrews.

Voyages for solo saxophone - Bran Howard

The Australian composer Brian Howard wrote his Voyages for solo saxophone in 2011, commissioned by James Nightingale, Andrew Smith and Nathan Henshaw with assistance from the Australia Council for the arts. This Premiere performance will feature seven Australian saxophonists and the works dedicatee, Claude Delangle performing one Voyage each.
