The Sydney Saxophone Collective (SSC) is a saxophone ensemble that was created in 2011 by Jay Byrnes M.Mus. The ensemble consists of 12 of Sydney's finest saxophonists and aims not only at performing arrangements and standard original music for the saxophone orchestra but also at promoting this ensemble to open minded composers, both established and emerging. SSC have recently premiered a new arrangement of the Villa-Lobos Fantasy with Guest Soloist Adrian Tully and in recent times performed Brenton Broadstock's new work 'Twelve'.

2012 is shaping up to be an exciting year for this ensemble with many performances including some special guests as well as new commissions for works for saxophone orchestra.

This event is a premiere

Twelve - Brenton Broadstock
