Suite Hébraique - Ernest Bloch

i. Rapsodie
ii. Processional
iii. Affirmation

Ernest Bloch (1880-1959) is a Swiss-born American composer. His mature works, including his best-known pieces, often draw on Jewish liturgical and folk music. Suite Hébraïque (1950) was originally composed for viola and orchestra, but was also published with piano accompaniment. Here, I have transcribed the solo viola part for alto saxophone.
