KOHEI UENO / Piet Swertz - Dance of Uzume
 from Japan Kohei Ueno was born in 1992 and started playing the saxophone at the age of 8. He has won first prize, on several occasions, in the Japan Junior Wind and Percussion Competition and first prize in the Japan Junior Saxophone Competition, the youngest person ever recorded. He is currently studying at Tokyo University of the Arts. Kohei Ueno has also been presented with the following special awards: the Prime Minister's Award, the Education Minister's Award and the Governor of Tokyo Award. He has been invited to perform as a soloist with Tokyo New City Orchestra in November 2012 and has already performed solo recitals and given concerts as a duo with Nobuya Sugawa. |
