The Thousand and Second Tale - Helge Havsgård Sunde

Helge Sunde Havsgård "The 1002nd Tale" (1992) is inspired by Edgar Allan Poe's claims that the myths, fables and hiking stories are rooted in reality. "Truth is stranger than fiction ..." He also mixes elements of his rhythmic backround into the composition.ommon wish of playing contemporary music written for saxophone quartet. In the beginning it was a project based ensemble and during the first year they had projects ranging from minimalistic music of United Kingdom to music written by Nordic and Baltic composers.
